Getting Started: The Dance Pages
At Dancing for Dessert we teach 7 popular social dances: foxtrot, waltz, tango, swing, salsa, cha cha and rumba. We also have a first dance wedding program to help wedding couples create their perfect wedding dance.
Starting from the assumption that you can't tell a Tango from a Mango, we've created 'dance pages' for each of the dances to get you oriented. On these dance pages you will find:
- free demonstration videos with music
- detailed descriptions that introduce the dances and describe the mood and character of each one
- a list of dance steps on the left side of the page
